Privacy Policy

Effective Date: 4/20/2026

Last Updated: 4/20/2026

This Privacy Policy describes how Devtegra ("Devtegra," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and shares information when you use our website at devtegra.com and our mobile applications, including FitCreature (collectively, the "Services").

We are committed to being transparent about our data practices. If you have any questions about this Policy, contact us at contact.us@devtegra.com.

1. Who We Are

Devtegra is a software development company operating as Devtegra, LLC, with a business address at 8315 Liberty Walk Dr., Round Rock, TX 78681. You can reach our privacy contact at contact.us@devtegra.com.

2. Summary of Our Approach

Before the legal detail, here is what matters most:

We collect only the data needed to run your account, sync your workouts, and power the FitCreature game layer.

Progress photos are stored only on your device. They never leave your phone and we never see them.

Workout locations, when enabled, are snapped to a ~50 meter grid before being stored. We do not retain precise GPS coordinates.

We do not sell your personal data.

We do not use your data to train third-party AI models.

You can request deletion of your account and associated data at any time from within the app or at devtegra.com/data-deletion.

3. Information We Collect

3.1 Information You Provide Directly

The categories below describe information you share with us when using FitCreature, and why we need it:

Account information - email address, username, display name, and hashed password. We use this to create and secure your account.

Profile information - avatar image, and optionally your city or zip code and country. We use this to display your profile and, if you choose, to match you to a Gym Zone.

Workout data - exercises logged, sets, reps, weights, session dates, and workout notes. This is the core tracking feature and powers the FitCreature game layer.

Body metrics (optional) - body weight, body fat percentage, and body measurements if you choose to log them. Used only for your own progress tracking.

Training preferences - your active training goal, template library, and exercise defaults. We use this to personalize your experience.

Communications - emails or support messages you send us. We use these to respond to your inquiries.

3.2 Information Collected Automatically

When you use the Services, we automatically collect some information in the background:

Approximate workout location (optional) - coarse coordinates snapped to a ~50 meter grid. We use this to form 'Gym Zones' for local matchmaking and leaderboards. Disabled if you opt out of location.

Device information - device type, operating system, and app version. We use this to debug issues and deliver the right app experience.

Usage data - features used, in-app actions, session timestamps, and crash reports. We use this to improve the Services and diagnose problems.

Game activity - creature state, battle history, season progress, cosmetic inventory, and purchases. We use this to run the game layer.

3.3 Information We Deliberately Do Not Collect

Progress photos. These remain stored only on your device. They are never uploaded to our servers.

Precise GPS coordinates. Location is always snapped to a ~50 meter grid before it reaches our servers.

Health data from Apple Health / Google Health Connect, unless you explicitly connect those services and grant permission. If you later grant access, this policy will be updated to describe what is imported.

Third-party advertising identifiers (IDFA, AAID) for ad tracking. We do not run advertising in the app.

4. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

Provide, maintain, and improve the Services, including syncing your workouts across devices.

Run the FitCreature game layer - compute creature stats, archetype, challenger tier, and battle outcomes.

Form organic 'Gym Zones' from aggregated coarse location data so you can be matched with users who train nearby.

Detect anomalies or abuse (for example, implausible workout entries that may indicate fraud or bugs).

Communicate with you about account issues, policy changes, and - if you opt in - product updates.

Comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms of Service.

We do not use your data to make automated decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects on you.

5. How We Share Your Information

We share information only in the limited circumstances below.

5.1 Service Providers

We use carefully chosen infrastructure and service providers to operate FitCreature. Each is contractually required to protect your data and use it only to provide services to us:

Supabase - backend database, authentication, and edge functions (data hosting).

Apple App Store and Google Play Store - for app distribution and in-app purchases. When you make a purchase, payment information is handled by Apple or Google, not by us.

Cloud and hosting providers supporting the above services.

If we add analytics, error tracking, or other third-party services in the future, we will update this policy before doing so.

5.2 Other Users

Some information is visible to other FitCreature users by design:

Your username, display name, avatar, creature appearance, and public profile stats are visible on leaderboards, battle recaps, and friend lists.

Your Gym Zone association is visible to users in the same zone, unless you hide it in settings.

Your exact workout contents (specific exercises, weights, reps) are never visible to other users.

5.3 Legal and Safety

We may disclose information when required by law, subpoena, or court order; to protect the rights, safety, or property of Devtegra, our users, or the public; or in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets (in which case we will notify you before your data is transferred).

5.4 What We Do Not Do

We do not sell your personal data.

We do not share your data with advertisers.

We do not share your data with third-party AI model training.

6. Data Retention

We retain your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Services. When you delete your account:

Workout data, creature state, body metrics, and associated personal information are deleted from our active systems within 30 days.

Anonymized or aggregated data that cannot be used to identify you may be retained for analytics.

Limited records may be retained longer where required by law (for example, financial records for tax or fraud-prevention purposes).

You can request account deletion at any time - see Section 8.

7. Data Security

We use industry-standard safeguards to protect your data:

All communication between the app and our servers is encrypted in transit (HTTPS/TLS).

Authentication tokens are stored in your device's secure storage (Keychain on iOS, EncryptedSharedPreferences on Android).

Row-Level Security on our database ensures users can only access their own data.

Passwords are hashed; we do not store plaintext passwords.

No security system is perfect. If we become aware of a breach that affects your personal information, we will notify you in accordance with applicable law.

8. Your Rights and Choices

8.1 Access, Correction, and Deletion

You can access and update most of your information directly in the FitCreature app. To request a copy of your data, to correct inaccuracies, or to delete your account and data, you can:

Use the account deletion feature inside the FitCreature app.

Visit devtegra.com/data-deletion and submit a request.

Email us at contact.us@devtegra.com.

We will respond to verified requests within 30 days.

8.2 Location

You can disable location services for FitCreature at any time from your device settings. If disabled, you can still use the app - you just won't automatically form or join Gym Zones via location. You can join a zone manually using your city or zip code.

8.3 Marketing Communications

If we send marketing emails in the future, every email will include an unsubscribe link. Transactional emails (account security, purchase receipts, policy updates) will still be sent because they are necessary to operate your account.

8.4 Regional Rights

If you are in the European Economic Area, United Kingdom, or Switzerland (GDPR): You have rights to access, rectify, erase, restrict, and port your personal data, and to object to certain processing. You may also lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

If you are a California resident (CCPA/CPRA): You have the right to know what personal information we collect, to request deletion, to correct inaccurate information, and to opt out of the "sale" or "sharing" of personal information. We do not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined under California law.

Other US states (Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, Utah, Texas, and others): You have similar rights under your state's privacy law. Contact us to exercise them.

To exercise any of these rights, email contact.us@devtegra.com.

9. Children's Privacy

FitCreature is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided us with personal information, contact us at contact.us@devtegra.com and we will delete the information.

In some jurisdictions (for example, the European Economic Area and the United Kingdom), the minimum age for consent is higher than 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from users below the applicable minimum age in their region without appropriate consent from a parent or guardian.

10. International Data Transfers

Devtegra operates from the United States. If you use the Services from outside the United States, your information will be transferred to and processed in the United States or other countries where our service providers operate. These countries may have different data protection laws than your country of residence. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards (such as Standard Contractual Clauses) for international transfers.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will notify you by updating the "Last Updated" date above, and - for significant changes - by posting a notice in the app or emailing you before the changes take effect. Your continued use of the Services after changes become effective means you accept the revised Policy.
